In 1971, Jim and Beryl Lumsdaine started the House of
Service. In 1983, Jim’s son Ed Lumsdaine became a partner and has purchased the
business. Their excellent service reputation prompted the well-known phrase
'The House that Service Built'.
In this shop you will find service that is
difficult to find anywhere else: If you need a fuse for your stove, it’s 'on
the house'. If you would like to have your Microwave oven tested for power
leakage, just bring it in and have it tested for free. Now that’s service.
Open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, the staff service
your fridge or freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, compactor, washer and
dryer, oven, barbecue, and even your hot water tank. In the shop is a wide
variety of quality-reconditioned appliances for sale, most with a one year
warranty. (All stove elements have a 2-year warranty)
